Welcome to our

Volunteer Scheduling Program

We have implemented this online scheduling tool for you. You can make your reservations to volunteer online and you can be assured that you won’t be turned away because there are too many volunteers at a particular worksite.

To register and sign up to volunteer:

Click on VolunteerUp button located above.

Once at the VolunterUp Website

1. Click Log In on the upper left hand corner of the screen

2. At the log in screen, click the Register Button and complete the Volunteer Profile Form.

3. Once you are registered, return back to the calendar screen and click on Sign up for the date and shift that works best for you.

All volunteers are required to complete a Liability Waiver. This form is located near the top of the calendar screen. If you have not already done so, please print it out and bring it with you to the work site.

Be advised that if you do not make your reservation through this system, we may have to turn you away.

Are you ready to join us?

There are many ways that volunteers carry out our mission in Sarasota. Volunteers help build homes, re-build homes, staff our Home Improvement Outlet Store, and work in our administrative offices. Volunteers are also needed to provide and serve snacks for volunteer workers. They also lend their expertise to Habitat’s organizational committees.

It is our goal to help you find the volunteer job that best suits your skills, interests, and schedule. Keep in mind that we’re flexible. You can volunteer on a regular basis, for a one-time project, or drop in as you’re available. We welcome you to volunteer as an individual or with a group from your company, school, faith community or civic organization.

TEEN VOLUNTEERS

Must be at least age 16. Any volunteer between the ages of 16 and 17 must have a parent or guardian sign the liability waiver. If you know of a young person under the age of 16 interested in helping Habitat, please visit Habitat's Youth Page.

If you need Habitat to sign any paperwork for you for school, community service hours, etc. Bring your form with you and we will be glad to verify the hours you serve with us.
